As we look ahead to the 2026 Europe Forum in Karlsruhe, the focus is shifting not only to the content of the event but also to organizational matters. Planning early will make it easier for you to participate and ensure a stress-free stay on-site. In this issue, we have therefore compiled the most important information regarding accommodations, travel, and transportation for you. 
 

Accommodations in Karlsruhe –
Important Information About Booking 

As planning progresses, so does the anticipation of spending time together in Karlsruhe—filled with encounters, exchanges, and new ideas. Finding the right accommodation is key to ensuring a pleasant stay. For the Europa Forum 2026, we have secured room blocks at selected hotels in partnership with Karlsruhe Touristik—suitable for a variety of needs and budgets. 

Please note:
For technical reasons, hotel reservations within this block can only be made after you have registered for the forum. Reservations must be made on an individual basis. Other booking options are not available within this reserved block. We therefore recommend that you plan your participation well in advance and register early to secure access to the accommodations provided.

Get There Easily –
Your Journey to the Europa Forum
 

The excitement leading up to the Europa Forum often begins with the journey itself. Good transportation links ensure that you arrive in Karlsruhe feeling relaxed and can focus entirely on the days ahead. For those traveling by plane, Frankfurt Airport is recommended for logistical reasons. 
 

From there, there are excellent connections to Karlsruhe via Deutsche Bahn, ensuring a smooth onward journey. 

Karlsruhe is also a major rail hub with approximately 130 long-distance trains daily, providing excellent connections to the national and international rail network. The city is also easily accessible by car.

Once you arrive, you can focus entirely on the Europa Forum—short distances and excellent public transportation connections ensure that you can easily reach all event venues. The transport authority Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (KVV) offers an extensive network of bus, tram, and commuter rail services—both within the city and throughout the region. 
 

A special perk for you: With the Forum Ticket, you can use public transportation for free during your stay. This gives you the freedom to get around, easily reach all the events on the program, and explore Karlsruhe at your leisure—all without any extra travel costs.
